Brisbane (From Kelvin Grove or Herston Rd, travel up L’Estrange Tce. Turn left
into road entrance, walk straight right uphill and first classroom left)
Meeting Dates: Meets on the 3rd Monday of the month
Meeting Time: 7:30pm.
Meeting Location
The group provides communications and safety nets for many and varied sporting
activities throughout South East Queensland. These are used as training
exercises to ensure a trained pool of radio operators available to be used in
the event of any emergency requiring additional communications resources.
Brisbane Area WICEN Group Inc. also has a regular state-wide net on Sunday
mornings for QLD WICEN on 7.075 MHz +/- at 0830 hrs local and a local net on
147.000 MHz Brisbane repeater every Sunday evening at 1930 hrs local. All are
welcome on these nets.
